Vivian Leehan, 74, of Edinboro, went to be with God, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center after a brief illness. She was born in St. Marys, PA on May 20, 1937. Daughter of the late Barbara Reichert Hanes.
Vivian had many passions in life, first and foremost was her love for her family especially her grandchildren. She loved traveling, gardening, lawn work, Bingo, bowling and golfing. Vivian lived to care for her children and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Leo, Cletus, Floyd and Carly Hanes; four sisters, Rita Wendel; Barb Bruni; RoseMary Gerber; and Helen Cashmere.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 52 years, William Leehan of Edinboro; five sons, William Leehan and his fiance Cindy of Edinboro; David Leehan of Cambridge Springs; Randy Leehan and his good friend Kathy of Edinboro; Greg Leehan of TX; and Jeffrey Leehan of Edinboro; one daughter, Barbara Twargoski and her husband Jeff of Waterford; one brother Paul Hanes and his wife Ginny of MN; two sisters, Ruth Graham of CA and Mary Fritz and her husband Wayne, CA; eleven grandchildren, Keegan, Mackenzie and Emily Leehan; Lexie and Joey Leehan; Bristol and Garret Leehan and Kayla, Tara, Rebecca and Cari Twargoski. Also many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.
