Virginia Marie “Ginny” (Sobucki) Falkowski, 96, of Edinboro, died Friday, December 23, 2016 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in McKean, PA on July 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Vincent and Victoria (Szymecki) Sobucki.
Virginia was a farm girl all her life. Anthony and Virginia owned their farm for over 70 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and her furry friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department and Franklin Center Fire Department.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Church in Edinboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony “Tony” Falkowski; 2 sisters, Mary and Pauline Sobucki; 5 brothers, Vincent, Stanley “Steve”, Al, Frank “Whitey”, and Harry Sobucki; and a son-in-law, Raymond Kosienski, Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia “Pat” Kosienski, of McKean; 2 sons, Anthony “Tony” Falkowski, of California and Richard (Kathy) Falkowski, of Waterford; 5 grandchildren, Ray Jr., Ron (Sue), Rich (wife, Lori) Kosienski, Diann (husband, Jeff) Fiske, and Sarah Falkowski; 3 great grandchildren; Dylan and Kennedy Kosienski and Ariannah Fiske.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6 to 8p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Hoffman.
