Vernon LeRoy “Tom” Burkett, 75, of Cambridge Springs died Friday, May 26 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Bedford, PA on June 25, 1941, the son of the late Floyd and Alice Burkett.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a member of the American Legion in Saegertown.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia Burkett in 1996; and two sisters, Barbara and Doris.
Survivors include a son; James Burkett of Cochranton; two daughters; Kandy McDuff of Meadville and Tanya (Walter) Camp of Youngsville; two brothers, Clyde and James; and two sisters, Nancy and Patty Ann, all of the Bedford, PA area; and two grandchildren, Jessica and Nicole McDuff.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of service at 7:30 pm with Charles Cardman officiating.
