Thomas John Willrich, 79, Draketown Road, Edinboro, PA, son of the late Thomas B. and Helena T. (Pitroff) Willrich, born September 1, 1931, in Erie, PA, passed away July 27, 2011, at Edinboro Manor. Tom is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hossman Willrich, a sister Elizabeth L. Doucette, Draketown Road; nephew David E. Stafford (Kristeen Ivan), Draketown Road; grand nephew Steven D. (Elaine) Stafford, and children Steven D. Stafford Jr, Claire and Sarah Stafford, Waterford, PA; grand niece Renee McAlexander, Tucson, AZ; grand niece Michelle Stafford, Edinboro; grand nephew Michael (Frieda) Stafford and daughter Margaret, Tucson, AZ; nephew John E. (Patricia) Stafford of Lawrenceville, GA; grand nephew Ryan T. Stafford, and children Logan and Hailey, Lawrenceville, GA; grand nephew Bradley J. (Lauren) Stafford and children Nicholas and Adam of Suwanee, GA; grand niece Kristina Stafford of Atlanta, GA; and niece Sandra Lynn Hossman of Albion, PA.
Tom was a graduate of Edinboro High School in 1949. He ran a farm raising beef cattle and a wholesale meat business on Draketown Road, Edinboro. He was a member for forty years of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Albion, PA. Tom was very active in the Edinboro High School Alumni Association and a life-time member of the Edinboro Area Historical Society and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
Viewing will be at Glunt Funeral Home in Edinboro on Monday, August 1, 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Services will be on Tuesday, at Glunt Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Pastor Fred Poppel of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Albion, PA. Internment will be in Erie Cemetery.
