Rosalie Lois (Hitchcock) Stanfield, 76, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bakers Mills, NY on March 12, 1939, the daughter of the late Beecher Hitchcock and Ellen Call Peterson.
Rosalie graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1958. She worked 22 years in Quality Assurance for Odgen Manufacturing in Edinboro.
Rosalie enjoyed sewing, ceramics, reading and watching anything by Peter Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her brother John Peterson and pets Silky and Patches.
Survivors include two sons, Lou Stanfield and his spouse, Kelly, of Meadville and Randy Stanfield and his spouse, Laura Cedergren of Gilbertsville, PA; two daughters, Holly Cordova and her spouse, Angel Cordova, of Walters, Oklahoma, and Danielle Blewett and her spouse, Frank Blewett of Cambridge Springs; three brothers, Jerry Peterson, Jim Peterson and Nathan Moore and his spouse, Judy; two sisters, Jill Hall and Joanne Russell; eight grandchildren, Lewis Stanfield, Kimberly McAfoose, Alicia Cordova, Alanis Cordova, Dan Stanfield, Alexis Stanfield, Alec “Nico” Cordova and Damian Carlson; and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Cailyn.
Friends may gather at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend memorial services there at 7:00 p.m.
