Ronald Leonard Teorsky, 71, of McKean died Thursday, July 17, 2014 in the loving and exceptional care of the Erie VA Medical Center.  He was born in New Kensington, PA on July 4th (POW), 1943, the son of the late Casmere and Veronica (Kaczkowski) Teorsky.  He was a graduate of Ken High and was a loyal employee of GE where he worked as a tester for 32 years.

Ron proudly served 4 years in the Navy aboard the USS Constellation.  Throughout his lifetime he was a member of the Fairview American Legion Post 742, Edinboro-McKean VFW, Siebenbuerger Club, Sunflower Club, Polish National Alliance, St. Francis Xavier Parish of McKean, and the Moose Club in Zephyrhills, Florida.  Ron loved to hunt, fish, play jokes on others, and attend parties.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda M. (Hudak) Teorsky, whom he missed dearly since her passing in 2008. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Stanley Teorsky, and most recently by his beloved sister in law, Marilyn (Hudak) Barker.  He is also joined in heaven by many friends, family, and fishing buddies.

Survivors include four daughters, Marylynn Lebec-Campbell (Jeff) of Oakdale, PA, Sueann Wiest (Shawn), of McKean, PA, Kelly Yurasko (Andrew) of Mt. Dora, FL, and Erin Bruner (Tom) of Homer City, PA, and a sister Loretta (Teorsky) Beresik (Francis) of Natrona Heights, PA.  However, He was most proudly known as Pappy Ron to Jack and Rachel Kaulis, Nick and Lindsay Wiest, Sydney Lebec-Campbell, Brooklyn and Baby Campbell, Lauren, Allison, and Luke Bruner, and Abigail and Baby Brother Yurasko.  Ron was so happy to have “Pappy’s Dozen”.  He will also be sorely missed by his good friends the Barneys, Kelleys, and Winnetts.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA, on Sunday 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.  A prayer service will be held there on Monday at 10:30 followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis Xavier Church at 11:00 am with Father Mark Nowak officiating.

Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the VA Medical Center-Hospice Unit, 135 E 38th St, Erie, PA 16504.  Ron was eternally grateful for their care.  To send condolences, please visit www.gluntfuneralhome.com
