Ricky L. Caldwell, age 62, completed his final trip on August 16, 2021 after a lengthy illness. Rick was born in Erie, Pa to the late Floyd and Marylou Caldwell. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathleen Caldwell of Duncan, SC; son, Chad Caldwell (Stacey) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Mary Pagan (Alex) of Simpsonville, SC; daughter, Nicole Noel (Tyshawn) of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Kirk Caldwell (Gayle) of Waterford, PA; brother, Doug Caldwell of Fulton, NY; 7 grandchildren, Suzy, Mariah, Jace, Lilly, Kiera, Dezy, and Eryn; along with several more cousins, nieces, nephews, and lives that he has touched on rural routes throughout America.
Rick was an avid bowler, completing the task of one 300 game and one 800 series. He enjoyed shooting pool and darts with his many friends in PA, SC, and GA. He was a truck driver for 41 years, with his final venture being his joint creation of Caldwell Trucking LLC in 2019 with his son, Chad. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1503 in Griffin, GA, and Lifetime Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary Member at VFW Post 9539 in Roebuck, SC.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. Private burial will be held at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
