Regina Ann LeSuer

Regina Ann (Judy) Chappel LeSuer, RN, 79, passed away June 26, 2024 at her home in McKean, PA after a lengthy illness. She was born in Meadville, PA on May 8, 1945, the daughter of the late Lewis E. and Pauline Buchko Chappel.

Judy was a 1963 graduate of Meadville Senior High School and a 1966 graduate of the Hamot School of Nursing in Erie, PA. She worked various part time jobs as a registered nurse, including Hamot Hospital, Dr. William Garvey's office, St. Mary's Nursing Home, Community Health Net, and finished her career training new nurse aides.

 Judy married Elmer “Butch” LeSuer, III on May 10, 1969 and they had three beautiful children together. Butch and Judy spent many years planning, saving and finally building their dream log home, which they always loved to share with family and friends. Judy took pride in her children and grandchildren, enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, and just being in the nature that thrives around their home.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by siblings Paula Jeanne Chappel, L. Edward Chappel, Mary Chappel Fischer, Margaret (Peg) Chappel Brown, Stephen Chappel and Robert Chappel; daughter Paula LeSuer Mayer; and daughter-in-law and mother of three, Laura (Brian) Dibble LeSuer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Butch; sons, Elmer (Leslie) LeSuer, IV and granddaughter, Evan; Brian LeSuer and grandchildren Dustin, Sophia and Isaac; son-in-law, Doug Mayer and grandchildren Taylor and Dillon; sister Sylvia (Bob) McKee; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 Services will be private. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is entrusted with arrangements.
