Rebecca Culbertson

Rebecca A. Culbertson, 78, of Erie, formerly of Edinboro, died Monday, January 27, 2025 at Forestview Skilled Nursing Center. She was born in Girard, PA on Nov. 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Virgil and Mary Johnson. 

Rebecca graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1964. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst College in 1968, and a Masters of Psychology from Edinboro University in 1977. 

Rebecca worked as a psychologist with her own private practice.

She enjoyed birds, cooking, and home decorating. 

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Larry and James Johnson. Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Jack Culbertson; a daughter, Amy Sinelli of Orlando, FL; a brother, Dennis Johnson of Girard, PA; and two grandchildren, Michael and Alex Sinelli. 

Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m.
