Paul W. Whiteman, 77 of Edinboro, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Brookville, PA on October 16, 1947, the son of the late Ephriam and Pauline Whiteman.
Paul served in the US Army. He worked as a painter at General Electric Co. for 35 years. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, golf and PA Lottery scratch off tickets.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Brian Whiteman, Patrick Nicolia and Aaron Schaffer; four brothers, Ephriam, Eugene, Edward and Arnold Whiteman; and three sisters, Dorothy Beecham, Margaret Sheppard and Dem Zerby.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Whiteman; a son, Mark (Crissy Gordon) Nicolia of Cambridge Springs; a daughter, Stacey (Artie) DeFoy of Edinboro; a brother, Robert Whiteman of Port Richie, FL; grandchildren, Bryan (Brooke) Nicolia, Briana (Brandon) Suprynowicz, Patrick (Taylor) Nicolia, Gregory (Natalie) Nicolia, Amber (Dalton) Nicolia, AJ (Lauryn) DeFoy and James DeFoy; daughter-in-law, Jen Nicolia; 6 great grandchildren, Eveylyn, Vivian, Bentley, Blakely, Scarlett and Carly; and very dear friends, the Beal family.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 p.m.
