Norma Jane Ruhl Caldwell, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born on March 14, 1926, in Venango, PA, daughter of the late George and Erma Ruhl.
Norma enjoyed to crotchet, knit and tending to her garden. She was an avid animal lover, and liked to feed and watch birds. For years Norma would make sure she stopped to visit with her mother on her way home from work. Norma worked at AVTEX Fibers for 38 years. She truly adored spending time with her.
Norma a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School, in the class of 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford O. Caldwell; two brothers, Lindsey and Lloyd Ruhl; and two sisters, Evalyn Flint and Lois Terrill.
Norma is lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6 p.m. To 8:00 p.m.. A time of viewing will be held there Friday, January 25, 2013, from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M..
Burial will be at Venango Cemetery.
