Michael Wesley Millspaw, 63, of McKean, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born in Erie, on April 22, 1948. Son of the late Merton Millspaw and Mary Jane Gagnon.
Mike proudly served the United States of America for 27 years, as a helicopter pilot in the Army. He served during the Vietnam War. After leaving the Army he was a member of the PA National Guard. He was a member of the VFW Post 740 and was active in the Edinboro Little League for many years. He was a member of the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania and enjoyed restoring antique tractors. Mike was employed for many years with CUNNINGHAM CHRYSLER PLYMOUTH, where he was the mechanic that everyone knew and trusted.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merton Millspaw and Mary Jane Gagnon.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Gloria Chop Millspaw; two sons, Nate and Jesse Millspaw both of McKean; one brother, Ed Millspaw and his wife Joan of Ohio; one sister, Nora Masterson of Erie; and two grandsons, Chase and Cohen.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held there on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
