Mary Mildred “Millie” Custance, 88, of Edinboro, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her home.  She was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada on November 10, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Evelyn Perry.
Millie was a devoted member of the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro. Along with being in the OLOL Alter Rosary Society, she was a member of the Edinboro Senior Citizens.
She had worked as a manager for Lerner's in New York from 1970 until 1989 in the ladies ware department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery E. Custance in 1997; a son, Paul G. Theriault this past Saturday; three brothers, Russell, Joseph and Elmer Perry; a sister, Doris Smith and a daughter-in-law, Laura Theriault.
Survivors include her son, William E. Theriault of Patchogue, NY; a step-daughter, Nancy Custance of Florida; a sister Mary Ida Murphy of Natick, Mass; and a daughter in law, Patrice Theriault of Springboro; also, three grandchildren, Robert, Phillip and Christopher Theriault.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Our Lady of the Lake Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Dan Hoffman officiating.  A rosary will be done at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
