Marion C. Blount, 68, of McKean, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. He was born in Erie on Feb. 4, 1945, the son of the late Marion and Lena Moore Blount.
Marion was a farmer in McKean most of his life, helping many of the farmers in the area.
He was a member of the Waterford VFW and the McKean Ushers Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Blount.
Survivors include his nephews; Elmer LeSuer and his wife, Judy, of McKean, and Glen LeSuer and his wife, Jeanne, of Soudertown, PA, his nieces; Judy Inman of Erie and Jane Ferris and her husband, Rick, of Edinboro; also, many other nieces and nephews and a host of friends on the hill where he lived.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm. There will be a remembrance service there at 8 pm.
