Marie Margaret Holden Fuchs, 95, of Edinboro died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Pittsburgh on June, 23, 1915, the daughter of the late Ambrose and Marie Lostetter Holden.
Marie was an avid and extremely enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved to play cards, knit, do crossword puzzles, but most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro and was a woman of faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Fuchs, Sr., in 1997, three sisters, Anna Mae Hinkofer, Clare Corbett and Eileen Wellinger.
Survivors include two daughters; Jean Green of Florida, and Carol Frantz and her husband Alan, of Erie; two sons, Raymond Fuchs, Jr. and his wife Peggi, of Tennessee, and Gary Fuchs and his wife Kathy, of Carlisle, PA; two sisters, Dolores Smith and Bernice Austin and a brother-in-law, James Wellinger, all of Pittsburgh; also 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Sunday, May 15th , from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Bill Sutherland officiating.
Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery.
