Lucille Dalbec

Lucille Marjorie Hayes Dalbec, 96, of Edinboro, died Saturday, August 28, 2010.  She was born in Erie on April 6, 1914, daughter of the late Frank and Edna Dewing Hayes.
Lucille was a homemaker.  She attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.  She was a member of AARP and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J. Albert Dalbec in March of 1983, two sisters, Velma Payne and Elaine Straka, one brother Walter Hayes, two half-brothers, Glenn and Floyed Hayes, and her sister-in-law Sister Ardell Dalbec.
Survivors include, her son, Ronald Dalbec and his wife Carol, of Edinboro; her twin sister, Luella Wells of McKean; also two grandchildren, Beth Heffren and her husband Larry of Crossingville; and R. Scott Dalbec of Saegertown; and three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 31, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.  A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 1, at 11:00 a.m. with Father William E. Sutherland officiating.
Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, PA 16412, or to the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department, 125 Meadville Street, Edinboro, PA 16412.
