Lillian M. Salsbury Kaylor, 88, long time resident of Edinboro, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Kane Regional Nursing Center in Pittsburgh. She was born on July 18, 1922 in Arnold, Pa, daughter of Mary P. and Harry Salisbury.
In addition to being a mother and grandmother Mrs. Kaylor worked with her husband Robert (Bob) as a distributor for the Erie Daily Times News and spent many years watching children in her home. Lil was a founding member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro and served on the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Kaylor in 2005.
Survivors include three daughters; Cookie Lancaster and her husband Louis, of Missouri City, TX, Mary Bierer and her husband Dana, of Erie, PA and Anna O’Friel, her husband Robert and their daughter Lillian of Cranberry Township, PA; and her sister Mary Ann Imm of New Kensington, PA.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Bill Sutherland officiating.
Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery.
