Lewis Skelton, Sr.

Lewis Gaylord Skelton, Sr., 77, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Edinboro Manor. He was born in Edinboro, on January 1, 1934. Son of the late Gaylord E. and Mildred E. Baker Skelton.
Lewis enjoyed hunting, working at the farm and driving truck. He was an active member of the Washington Valley Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by an infant son David.
Survivors include beloved wife of 55 years, Carolyn Himes Skelton; four sons, Brady Skelton of Edinboro; Gaylord Skelton and his wife Mary of AZ; Lewis Skelton, Jr. and his wife Robin of Edinboro; Emmer Skelton and his wife Janet of Cambridge Springs; his daughter Martha Bucko of FL; one sister Louise Glover and her husband James of Waterford, also 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Saturday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m. with Rev. Duane Pinney officiating.
