Kathleen Robin

Kathleen Astarael Herrington Robin, 35, of Franklin Township, passed away suddenly as a result of a tragic accident.
She was born Sarah Kathleen Herrington in Winter Park, Florida in 1982. She moved to Franklin Township with her family in 1998 and graduated from General McLane High School in 2000.
Until recently Katie lived in Maryland and worked as a cook, bartender and taught art classes to young children and adults for a non-profit organization.
Katie loved to smile and joke. She was a real people person. She enjoyed cooking, arts and crafts, reading, watching movies and spending time with her family and her two cats.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Manino Herrington in 2015.
She is survived by her brother, Zachary Herrington of West Palm Beach, Florida and her father, Phil Herrington of Franklin Township. Also survived by her Godmother, Sandee Will, of Erie; Godfather, Alan Herrington, of Orlando, Florida; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Pennsylvania, Florida and Maryland.
Katie will be sorely missed by all.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
A celebration of life will be held at the Franklin Twp. Vol. Fire Department, 7455 New Rd., Edinboro, PA 16412 on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 6 pm.
