EDINBORO – John Paul “Jack” Martin, 81, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at his home. He was born Erie, on August 18, 1927, son of the late John and Inez Finn Martin.
Jack proudly served during the Korean War with the United States Army. He worked for Terella Drywall for many years, as well as working independently hanging drywall. Jack also had a love for wildlife especially bird watching, and a passionate talent for gardening and flowers.
He was preceded in death by his brother Clare Martin.
Survivors include his brother Charles Martin, of Erie; two sisters, Lillian Lewandowski of Edinboro; and Ruth Koman of Edinboro; also many beloved nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 6:00 p.m., at Edinboro Cemetery.
