John Francis Weber

John F. Weber, 76, of Meadville, died Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on August 6, 1947, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Plavcan) Weber.

John was a Vietnam Army Veteran and following his service spent 43 years at Applied Industrial Technologies (formerly Bearings, Inc.). Following retirement, he spent his time with nature on his great land, fondly called Grandpa’s Country.

Survivors include Cynthia, his loving wife of 52 years; children Ann Butts (Turner), Jacqueline Charvat (Steven), Matthew Weber (Melissa), and Mary Bunevich (Joshua); also grandchildren, Turner (Brianna), Lydia, Wyatt and Charlotte Butts, Gabrielle, Thea, and Calen Charvat, and Anthony, Dominic, and Rosalynn Bunevich.

             Friends may call at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Dr., Edinboro, on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. till the time of a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro is entrusted with funeral arrangements.
