John G. Gourley

John G. Gourley, 55 of Edinboro, ended a long, hard battle with cancer on Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home. He was born in Erie on August 17, 1968, the son of Gary Gourley and the late Janet Gourley. 

John graduated from General McLane High School in 1987. He enjoyed running heavy equipment for Russell Standard and socializing with friends, family and co-workers. He was always cracking jokes and had a passion for life.

Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by a brother, Ray Gourley. In addition to his father and stepmother, Karen Gourley, he is survived by his heartbroken daughter, Taylor (Patrick Nicolia) Gourley; and two granddaughters, Carly and Scarlet. Rest easy on the wings of eternity, Dad.

No calling hours will be observed.  A memorial service will be held to remember John at a later date.  The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of arrangements.
