On Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 God reached down and took our Mom's hand, and led her home. Then as she stepped through the gate, the Glory of God surrounded her, He placed her other hand into Dad's, and they are walking the streets of gold together, now. She was born into the Lawrence and Leona Forbes family on July 27th, 1933, and her hand was placed into Dale Lawrence's hand on Aug. 16th 1952, for 60 more loving years, until Dad's passing in April 2013.
Her life was filled with many wonderful moments. starting with a little sister, Barbara (Forbes) Chaffee, then Graduation from Girard HS, to marriage and children. They were members of Franklin Center UMC, involving herself in many aspects of the church, devoting her life to God's work field. That in turn led her into a New Mission field at their farm, turning it into a Camp Ground called Mar-Da-Jo-Dy, where she continued to meet and touch new people, bringing families together in a peaceful valley. Time came to move on, and take some fun trips to Florida, involve themselves with the RVIC's and friends from the past, and spent time in the summer at Hill's Family CG of Erie, then to their Apartment in Fairview.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Dale Lawrence; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Noel Boyd, and her sister, Barbara Chaffee.
Surviving her family is her daughter, Margo (Richard) Carraway, a son, Mark (Barbara) Lawrence; and Melody (Terry) Boyd; her sister's husband, James Chaffee; Dale's sister, Joy (Allan) Westbrook; and many nieces and nephews.
