Jayne Glunt-Johnson

December 19, 1970 — July 3, 2017

Jayne Ann Glunt-Johnson, 46, of Cambridge Springs, died Monday, July 3, 2017 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Erie on December 19, 1970, the daughter of Harry D. and Judith A. Glunt of Edinboro.

Jayne was a 1989 graduate of General McLane High School. She attended Indiana University at Kittanning. Jayne worked at County Ambulance and Medical Services from 1990 to 1995 where she was trained in medical billing and was one of the EMT's running ambulance calls. She worked at Metro Health Center from 1995-1998 as an patient account representative. She was a business office manager at Beverly Health Care from 1998-2001. She was an instructor at the Erie Business Center teaching medical billing from 2004 to 2010 and in 2013 earned her Associate Degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, John Pace, Sr. as well as her uncle and Godfather, Jerry Bordogna.

Other than her loving parents, survivors include her husband of 20 years, Brandon Johnson; a son, Guy Alexander Johnson and a daughter, Erin Alexis Johnson both at home; a brother, David T. Glunt and his wife, Margaret of Edinboro; sister-in-law, Deanna McLallen, brother-in-laws, Lonnie Davis, Joseph Johnson, and Skylord Johnson; nieces and nephews, Gabriel Glunt, Alexis McLallen, Destiny, Erik, and Justin Johnson; also her father-in-law, Erik Johnson and many cousins and friends.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a rosary said at 3:45 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, PA at 11:00 am, with Fr. Daniel Hoffman officiating.

Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, or the Edinboro American Legion Post 439, 200 Fairway Dr., Edinboro, PA 16412 or the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 W 12th St, Erie, PA 16505.
