Jane Beatty

Jane Alice (Galbraith) Beatty, 79, of West Lake Road, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital.  She was born in Johnston, PA on January 26, 1937, the daughter  of the late Ralph and Nell (Stombaugh) Galbraith.

She was an elementary Art Teacher at Mckeesport School District.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Beatty and her daughter, Heather Jane Beatty.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Beatty of, Baltimore, MD.

No calling hours will be observed.  A memorial service will be held at the Edinboro United Methodist Church, 113 High St., Edinboro, PA on June 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lisa Grant officiating.
