James E. Northup, 63, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Erie, on February 20, 1950. Son of the late James Francis and Mary Fish Northup.
Jim enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experiences. He loved helping anyone that he could. Jim loved the outdoors and adored his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Colten Siciliano, in 2006.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Barbara Stigers Northup of Edinboro; three sons, James J. Northup of Erie; Jason M. Northup and his wife Laura of OH; and Justin R. Northup and his fiancé Sara Klonicki of Edinboro; his daughter, Bridgette Siciliano and her husband Tony of Edinboro; brother Joseph Northup and his wife Dawna of Erie; sister Gayle Rohde and her husband David of GA; grandchildren, Jared, Hannah, Mikayla, Nicholas, Danielle, Samantha and Hunter; also many nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Daniel Hoffman officiating.
