Harold Samuel Webster Stafford, 91, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Edinboro Manor. He was born in Edinboro, on Rice Road on April 2, 1919, son of the late Lester E and Lena Hoffman Stafford.
Harold worked as a dairy farmer and also worked for Washington Township for over 30 years. He loved mowing his lawn, collecting criswold, eating Greek dogs, and cutting wood.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Stafford, daughter, Shirley Stafford, brother Willie Stafford and step grandson, Tyler Allen.
Survivors include his sons, Sam Stafford and his wife Claudia of Erie; Bob Stafford and Peggy of Waterford; Lester Stafford and his wife Sandy of Erie; and Rodger Stafford of Edinboro; two daughters, Linda Humes and her husband Victor of Edinboro; and Eloise McArdle of North Carolina; two stepsons, Mike Allen of Albion; Andy Allen and his wife Peach of Maryland; three stepdaughters, Julie Zimmer of Edinboro; Becky Frelick and her husband Jeb of Centerville; and Caty Birbeck and her husband Scott of Florida; his ex-wife Annalee Stafford of Erie; also 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and his beloved dog Rusty.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, December 18, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. A service will be held at Draketown Christian Church, 12460 Draketown Rd., Edinboro, PA 16412, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Ron Kennedy, who is not only Harold's Pastor, but a dear family friend.
