Gary Defoy

Gary A. DeFoy, Jr., 46, of Edinboro, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home. He was born in Erie on July 17, 1974, the son of Virginia DeFoy, and the late Gary DeFoy, Sr.

Gary enjoyed spending time with his loving family. He liked to golf, bowl and watch the Pittsburgh Steelers play.

He worked for HBS in Erie as a Boom Operator.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Orville and Mildred Lamp, and a brother-in-law; Pat “Pappy” Nicolia.

Survivors include his loving wife, Stacey DeFoy; two sons, Gary and James DeFoy, both at home; four sisters, Cheryl (David) Hamilton of Greenville, Stacy (Shawn) Teeter of Waterford, Floretta (Howard) Gibbs of Erie, and Jody (Robin) DeFoy of Erie; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Linda Whiteman of Edinboro; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday, December 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.

All CDC guidelines requiring face masks and social distancing will be in place.
