Elizabeth Ann (Bajuszik) Bayuzick, 98, of Edinboro, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at the Edinboro Manor. She was born in Mt. Pleasant Twp, PA on April 12, 1918, the daughter of the late George and Anna Bajuszik.
From 1950-1955, Elizabeth was co-owner and operator of the “Bays Printing” print shop in Braddock, PA.
She loved to garden, cook and sew. But her biggest passion was her love for her family. She spent countless hours preparing large buffets of food for all family gatherings. Elizabeth loved visiting all her children and grandchildren and gave many of them a love for cooking. Her gardens were another passion. She was the first to have an English garden filled with an abundance of flowers.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Bayuzick; two brothers, Edward Bajuszik and Andrew Bajuszik; and a sister-in-law, Pauline Bajuszik.
Survivors include her two daughters, Andrea “Cookie” (Daniel) Sheldon of Ashtabula, OH, and Nancy Gallagher of Edinboro; two sons, Ronald (Dorothy) Bayuzick of Cambridge Springs, and Dennis (Gabriella Pettit) Bayuzick of Wisconsin; one brother, Joseph (Lib) Bajuszik; and a sister, Delores (James) Mieninger; also, 7 grandchildren.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
No calling hours will be observed. A private service and burial will be held by the family. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Edinboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Regional Home Health and Hospice, 2564 Village Common Drive, Erie, PA 16506.
