Eleanor Gibson, 83, of Edinboro, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Latrobe, on July 12, 1927; daughter of the late Andrew and Ida Ciconna Mania.
Eleanor was a long time member of the Latrobe Art Club. She was a talented painter and entered many paintings.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Morgan Gibson, her daughter Julie Ann Weatherholtz; her sister Rose Marie Klesyk and her son-in-law Steven Emmett.
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Gibson Emmett of Edinboro, her niece, Andrea Klesyk of VA, nephew Richard Klesyk of VA and her beloved grandsons, Ryan and Neil Emmett of Edinboro.
