Edward James Cormier, Sr., 67, of Edinboro, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Rhode Island on April 26, 1944. Son of the late Edward J. Parrott and Myrtle P. Lamont.
Edward was an avid member of the Y.M.C.A..
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Cormier.
Survivors include his three sons, Edward J. Cormier, Jr. and his wife Staphani of Saegertown; Jeffrey J. Cormier and his wife Brooke of McKean; and Phillip Crawford of Cambridge Springs; his daughter, Leah Cormier and her Fiancé Phil of Erie; his brother William Comstock and his sister Franny Comstock; six beloved grandchildren, Alysha and Marissa Cormier; Morgan and Madison Cormier, Nathan Shingledecker and Tony Kemmler; also his cherished dog Shadow.
