Edmund J. Dlugolenski, Jr., 65, of Edinboro, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at home. He was born in Erie, PA on February 16, 1948, the son of Catherine Danylko Dlugolenski and the late Edmund J. Dlugolenski.
He was a truck driver for Walmer Trucking from 1968 to 1987, Rohrer Trucking from 1987 to 2000, and Brad Fiesler Trucking, Crystal Lakes Development, and Russell Standard Corp.
Mr. Dlugolenski was a graduate of General McLane High School and a lifetime member of St. Francis Xavier Ushers Club in McKean. He attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He enjoyed camping, classic cars, and working on his trucks.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelsey Sue Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife Ella Gowen Dlugolenski; a son, Edmund A Dlugolenski and his companion, Gabrielle Rizzi of Erie, and a daughter, Bridgette Reynolds (Shawn) of Cambridge Springs; a brother, Carl Dlugolenski, a sister, Karen Neubert (John) of McKean; four grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Shawn and Dylan Reynolds, and Wyatt Dlugolenski, also, two great-grandchildren, Carson and Carina Jones.
Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Mark Nowak celebrant.
The Glunt Funeral Home, Edinboro is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
