Donald E. Sauers, 56, of Girard, formerly of Edinboro, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Meadville on November 13, 1954. Son of the late Norman and Murriel Hindle Sauers.
Don was a former employee of Erie Bronze & Aluminum, Steris and Equipment Exchange.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Janet Elaine Sedwick Sauers; two daughters, Caroline and Sara Sauers at home, his brother, Henry Sauers and his wife Katie of Waterford, his sister Vivian West of Townville and his cherished grandson who meant the world to him, Rowen Sauers.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A service will be held there on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Cox officiating.
