Dirk R. Hallett, 52, of McKean, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 27, 2017. He was born in Torrence, CA on April 23, 1965, the son of Beverly Ann and the late Lewis Hallett.
He lived his life everyday as an Adventure, which was expressed throughout his artwork. He loved the outdoors, and was an expert in canning. His love of reading influenced his generous and loving Spirit. Dirk had a wonderful sense of humor and a life that could not be contained by four walls.
He attended a Gun Smith School in Colorado and received his Associates Degree from Trinidad Junior College and attended Edinboro University.
In addition to his beloved mother, survivors include: a brother, Gary Hallett of CA; a sister, Katherine (Paul) Rimdzius of ME; two nephews Sebastian and Vincent Rimdzius; and also a good friend Gene Smallwood.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. A service will be held there on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Certified Lay Pastor Lynn Warso officiating.
