Diane L. Clark, 66, of Erie, died on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born in Erie on February 28, 1958, the daughter of the late C. Raymond and Joanne Zimmer.
A proud 1976 graduate of General McLane High School, Diane earned her Cosmetology license and Certification in Electrolysis from the Kree Institute in 1977. She went on to run a successful business, Electrolysis by Diane, for 20 years. More recently, she brought her warmth and cheer to the skies as a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines, where her outstanding customer service left a lasting impression on so many – everyone LUV’d her.
Diane’s life was filled with talent, creativity, and laughter. A graceful and gifted dancer, she trained and earned certification in Cecchetti Ballet. She shared her love for music and singing through her band, Midnight Blue, performing. A talented seamstress, she enjoyed crocheting many beautiful gifts for her family and grandchildren.
While Diane had many talents and experiences, her greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She lit up every room she entered with laughter and kindness, filling her loved ones’ lives with joy and inspiration. Generous and compassionate, she was always ready to help and lift others up. Diane deeply cherished family gatherings and trips to Virginia, where she enjoyed game nights and memorable meals with her sister, Judy, and dear friend, Teresa, in Chincoteague. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she adored them “to the moon and back.”
Diane was a past member of Edinboro United Methodist Church and Summit United Methodist Church. Her unwavering love and warmth will be missed by all who knew her, and her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she left behind.
She was married to her husband, Brett L. Clark, for 42 years.
