David E. Stafford

David E. Stafford, 75 of Edinboro, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at UPMC Hamot.  He was born in Erie on February 29, 1948, the son of the late Edward Stafford and Elizabeth (Willrich-Stafford) Doucette.

During his life, David worked with heavy equipment and was an artist with a backhoe.  He also loved farming and was willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.  He was a proud Republican and a member of the Republican Committee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives Margaret (Bielak) Stafford and Lorraine Stafford.

David leaves behind his partner, Pam McCrystal; his brother, John (Patti) Stafford; 4 children, Michael (Freida) Stafford, Michelle (Mark Hogue) Stafford, Steven (Elaine) Stafford and Reneé (Shawn) McAlexander; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m.  A service will be held Wednesday, April 12^th at 11:00 a.m. at Draketown Christian Church, 12460 Draketown Rd., Edinboro, PA, followed by burial at Draketown Cemetery.
