David William Minor, 77, of Edinboro, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Western Reserve Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Erie. He was born in New Martinsville, WV on December 2, 1939, the son of the late Clifford and Ethel Minor.
He enjoyed hunting and working on Classic Cars.
He was a member of the VFW in Venango, the AH Club in Edinboro, a former member of the Antioch Sportsman Club, in Antioch, OH and a member of the First Christian Church in New Martinsville, WV.
He served in the Army from 1962 to 1965.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Denise Minor; a daughter, Kimberly (Kevin) Safreed of Antioch, Ohio; two sons, Michael (Heather) Minor, of Pittsburgh and Todd (April) Minor, of Annapolis, Maryland; a brother; Eugene (Sandy) Minor of Alaska; also, 5 grandchildren; Jordan, Jacob, Halie, Colin, and Jackson; 3 great grandchildren; Connor, Matthew, and Gracie, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 1 to 4p.m. and are invited to attend a memorial service there at 4 p.m., with Rev. Michael Kavshinikov officiating.
