David Heirls

David L. Heirls, 85, of Edinboro, died Monday, July 5, 2021 at the Erie VA Medical Center.

He was born in Erie, Pa on March 16,1936, the son of the late Louis Heirls and Monica (Heirls) Steva. David served in the US Navy during the end of the Korean War. He worked at Kim Kraft as a printer for 35 years, retiring in 2005. He attended Strong Vincent High School, and was an avid bowler.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Geisecke.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Marjorie Heirls; three sons, David Heirls, Edinboro, Timothy Heirls, of East Berlin, PA and Todd Heirls, of Thornton CO; also many grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, 210 Erie St., Edinboro, PA 16412 on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10 a.m.
