Colleen Harrison

Colleen Natalie McCaslin Harrison, 82, formerly of Old Rt. 99, McKean, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Elmwood Presbyterian Nursing Home. She was born in Erie on April 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred Ludwig McCaslin.
Colleen was a homemaker and was a really wonderful cook. She also loved horseback riding, hunting, playing horseshoes, enjoyed playing cards and was an avid bowler. She was a member of Edinboro Eastern Star, Chapter #359, and for many years was a member of the McKean Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James A. Harrison in 1992, also a dearly loved son, Jeff Harrison, in 2004, a brother, Fred McCaslin, and a sister, Edna Schluraff.
Survivors include 3 sons, Mark Harrison and his wife, Mari of McKean, Damon Harrison and his wife, Rebecca, of DesMoines, IA., and Shawn Harrison and his wife, Kimberly, of Raleigh, NC.; a brother, Russell Arlen McCaslin and his wife, Phyllis of McKean and a sister, Gloria Felton of Corry; 9 grandchildren, Bleu Harrison, Gemma Shimpeno, Lindsey, Randi & Abby Harrison, Jami Wozniak, Camden, Owen & Breyden Harrison; also, 3 great-grandchildren, Adaline & Harrison Shimpeno and Graham Harrison.
Friends may call Monday, August 29, 2011 from 10 am until the time of a funeral service at 11:30 am. at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro.
Burial will be at the Erie County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edinboro United Methodist Church, 113 High Street, Edinboro, PA 16412; McKean Hose Co, 5011 North Main Street, McKean, PA 16426, or to a charity of your choosing.
