Charlotte R. (Wonner McDivitt) Rosenberg, 90, of McKean, PA went to be with the Lord from her home on Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born in Union City, PA on September 26, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Susanna Fleischer Wonner.
Charlotte graduated from Wattsburg High School and attended many class reunions. She loved to have large family gatherings. She worked at Murphy’s, Kresge’s, Woolworth’s, Talon Zipper and Erie Resistor, all before getting married. After her children were born, she became a full-time housewife and mother. She and her husband, Bard, were partners at Shady Acres Mobile Home Park for 15 years before retiring to Tionesta for 21 years. She returned to Erie County and her hometown church, Trinity Lutheran in McKean, in 2015.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William L. McDivitt in 1956, her second husband, Thomas D. McDivitt in 1975, and her third husband, Bard L. Rosenberg in 2007; two sons, Gerald and Lloyd McDivitt; two daughters, Donna and Irene McDivitt; a stepson, Ron J. McDivitt and step-grandson, Ron J. McDivitt, Jr.; a stepdaughter, Kristen Bearer; a sister, Pauline and her husband, Jerome Devlin; and a brother in law, John Makay.
Survivors include two sons, William C. McDivitt of Cambridge Springs and James (Paula) McDivitt of Polk; two daughters, Kathleen (Gary) Visniesky of Mercer and Barbara (Alan) Mountain of Edinboro; several stepchildren, including Harold Rosenberg of Crossville, TN, and Ronnie (Betty) Rosenberg of Edgewater, FL., a brother, John (Marjorie) Wonner; a sister, Susanne Makay; 6 grandchildren; Neil, Amy, Jill, Lynn, Gregory, and Tammy; 9 step grandchildren, Kim, Michelle, Stacey, Bobbie, James, Danielle, Bobby, Butch and Jake; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and several step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in McKean on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronald Freebourn officiating.
