Catherine Ann (Belovarac) Watral, 90, North Port, FL, formerly of Edinboro, died November 12, 2013 in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born in Star Junction, PA on October 3, 1923, the daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Maretich) Belovarac.
Catherine enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and daily walks with her long-time four legged companion Duke and a supporter of the Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve C. Watral in 1998; a son, Thomas Watral in 1985; four brothers, Stephen, Joseph, Matthew, and John Belovarac.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine (Watral) Welcheck and Shirley Watral, both of Florida; also, two Grandchildren, Brian and Scott Welcheck; and two Great-Grandchildren, Boston and Banks Welcheck.
No calling hours will be observed. A memorial mass will be held at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Dr., Edinboro, on, Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Hoffman officiating.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
