Carol Adams

Carol J. Adams, 87, of McKean died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on September 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Peter and Marion Christensen.

Carol was an avid golfer and bowler. She loved to read and also loved to snowmobile with her family. She attended Lakewood Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard Adams, in 2000; two sisters, Sally Kubiak and Alice Battersby; a brother, Robert Christensen; and her long time friend and card playing partner, Neva Hamilton.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Andy) Reed, of Arizona and Jamie Tarbell, of McKean; four grandchildren, Buck and Cody Reed, Nicholas Aldrich (fiancé Tara Pekelnicky), and Sarah (Frank) Malena; two great grandchildren, Addison and Hunter Malena; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held for immediate family, due to Covid-19 concerns.

The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
