Brett Caughlan, 21, of Greensburg, PA, formerly of Edinboro, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born in Dallas, TX, on October 5, 1992. Son of the late Rev. Jerrold J. Caughlan and Sheridan Stricker.
Brett attended General McLane High School and recently graduated from Wyo Tech in Blairsville, PA.
Brett had many passions in life, he loved working on cars and teaching everyone about them. He loved his dogs, Brigitte, Leah and Jessi. His friends were incredibly important and he was the kind of person that would do anything to help a friend in need. Brett loved house work, yard work, and Jet Skiing. Brett was known for his sense of humor and ability to make people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Jerrold J. Caughlan in 2006 and Sheridan Stricker in 2008.
Survivors include his beloved girlfriend, Alysa Cooper of Greensburg, PA; brothers Ian Caughlan of MA; Brian Caughlan of IL; and Bill Caughlan of Philadelphia; three sisters, Samantha Caughlan of MI; Janet Caughlan of MD; and Laura Caughlan of Philadelphia.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, Today from 7 to 9 p.m.. and are invited to attend memorial services at McLane Church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Caughlan officiating.
