Betty May Zerby, 72, of Edinboro, died Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was born in Erie, on April 21, 1945, the daughter of the late, John and Elsie Rohaly.
She graduated from Academy High School in 1963.
She worked at Kerner's, Marx Toys and as a food server at Edinboro University.
She was a member of the Franklin Township Fire Hall Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, canning, cooking, gardening and crafts.
She was a member of the Franklin Center United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John A. Rohaly.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Boyd Hayes Zerby: a son, Thomas (Bonnie) Staley, Jr. and their children, Brooke and Abbie of Waterford; 3 daughters, Bonnie (Michael) Hodges and their children, Jacob and Joseph of Erie, Tina (Charles) Mabie and her daughter, Alexis of Erie, Sherry (Richard) Beattie and their children, Kristie, Kayla, Timothy, Dylan, Derik, and Devon of Florida: a sister, Shirley Wolfe of Erie, along with 3 great-grandchildren.
A gathering will be held, Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Franklin Center United Methodist Church, 7471 Old State Rd, Edinboro, PA 16412, from 4 until the time of Service at 5 pm with Rev. Robert Klingler officiating.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
