Bettelynn Bayley Therasse, 53, was a beloved mother, daughter, and friend. Resident of Edinboro, Pennsylvania married to husband Joseph Therasse. Bettelynn passed away August 11, 2010 at Hamot Hospital following her late brother Chic Bayley and mother-in-law Flossie Therasse.
Bettelynn worked at Hermitage House Youth Services as Director of Operations and Finances. She helped many and was loved dearly. She was also the treasurer for the Cemetery Association.
Bettelynn graduated from General McLane High School in 1975 and continued on to Edinboro University where she graduated with a degree in Accounting and Economics in 1984.
Bettelynn enjoyed going for motorcycle rides, taking pictures wherever she could, and loved being on, in, and around the water.
Bettelynn Therasse is survived by her husband Joseph Therasse, son Logan Therasse, daughter Madeline Therasse, parents Alfred and Dorothy Bayley, father-in-law Joseph Therasse Sr., sister-in-law Leah and husband Bob Nagy of Edinboro, brother-in-law Dave and wife Barb Therasse of Edinboro, and two nieces and two nephews.
Friends and family may call Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at McLane Church, Edinboro 12511 Route 99, and may attend a memorial service there Tuesday at 11 a.m. with a lunch to follow. Glunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hermitage House Youth Services, P.O. Box 748, Edinboro, PA 16412, or to a charity of your choice in Bettelynn's name.
