Barbara Hushon

Barbara Hushon, 66, of Edinboro, PA went to her eternal home in heaven on January 14, 2017. For 27 years, she was Paul Donald Hushon's beloved wife. Barb was the mother of Joseph E. McLaughlin. She was a caring stepmother to Christine M.; Julia A.; and Paul D. Hushon II, wife Kate. She was a loving grandmother to Lucas and Adam Hushon.

Barb is survived by her sisters, Mary Kearney and Carol Tamayo. Aunt Barb will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews who will remember playing board games with her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Rosemary Eiseman, as well as her sister, Sharon Lupp. Barb graduated from Strong Vincent High School and received a bachelors degree from The Pennsylvania State University. She worked for several years at the Villa Maria Academy in Erie and later at Edinboro Univeristy.

Barb enjoyed many hobbies over her lifetime including bowling, trail rides on horseback, motorcycle trips, card games and crossword puzzles to name a few. Friends are invited to call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, PA 16412 on Tuesday, January 17 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 18, at 10 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 128 Sunset Dr., Edinboro, PA.
