Barbara A. "Babs" Lockwood

Barbara Ann “Babs” Lockwood passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025. Born in Erie November 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Peter P. Loesch and Katherine A. (Fleming) Loesch.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a former member of the Erie Yacht Club, Lake Shore Country Club, and the Hamot Aid Society. She loved the Erie Playhouse and was a season ticketholder for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and loved her dogs and horses.

Her beloved husband Theodore R. Lockwood preceded her in death, as did her son James R. Lockwood, her brother Peter Loesch Jr., and sister Margaret Loesch.

Survivors include her children William T. Lockwood, Barbara L. Lockwood DPM, Theodore P. Lockwood (Linda), Michael R. Lockwood, and grandchildren Morgan Lockwood and Travis Lockwood (Lucinda), and friends Mathew and Brenda Csakany.

Burial will be private. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro is entrusted with arrangements.
