Austin "Reb" Renfro

Austin “Reb” Renfro, 81 of McKean, died Thursday, July 6, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Austin or “Reb” as he was known, was someone that anyone could rely on at any time to help with any problem or fix anything. If Reb couldn’t fix it, most likely it was junk. He also loved watching NASCAR, going camping, “junking”, and fishing in Tennessee at his winter home.

He worked in maintenance at Lakeview Forge for 32 years. 

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Marjorie Williams; 2 sons, Douglas Renfro and Brian (Cathy) Williams all of McKean; 4 daughters, Pamela Dickey of Pittsfield, PA, Missy (Jeff Messmer) Renfro of Edinboro, Brenda Renfro of Cambridge Springs and Debbie (John) Hess of Waterford; a brother, Paul (Dorothy) Renfro of Kittanning, PA;  9 grandchildren, John, Nathan, Jacob, Daniel, Monica, Kayla, John, Hannah, and Justin, and 5 great-grandchildren, Ella, Jayce, Sadie-Mae, Magnolia and Ryan.

Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a funeral service to follow.
