Anna J. Roha, 90, of Cambridge Springs, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Cambridge Springs Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Export, PA, on August 6, 1922. Daughter of the late Vincent Steve and Anna Dragon Makoski.
Anna loved gardening and also was proud to be a coalminers daughter. She was also a member at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Anna worked for seven years at American Viscose, making textile fibers for parachute jumpers in London, England. She was hired later by the original owner of Langs Electric, Bill Lang. Anna put in 37 years on the assembly line as an assembly worker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Jacob Roha; brother, Joe Makoski, sister Helen Sherrod and son-in-law Ernest Davidson.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Roha, of Cambridge Springs; daughter Carol Davidson, of Meadville; granddaughter Tammy R. Brown and grandson Ernie Davidson.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Father Reverend David Poulson officiating.
